The Burnt Half Premieres at MDFF

We’re thrilled to announce that our feature documentary, The Burnt Half, created in partnership with our sister company, Arterial Films will be premiering at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival in July 2023.

The Burnt Half is a powerful, complex, engaging, character-led, observational documentary. It’s a film that goes to the heart of a shattered community in the wake of the 2020 bushfires that destroyed two-thirds of this idyllic island, which was the jewel in the crown of South Australia and a global tourism icon.

Our team worked tirelessly to produce this entirely independent feature film, with Stephen de Villiers directing, Chloe Gardner Producing, Wilson Tran editing and our long-term collaborator and friend, Ben Dowie lensing the film as cinematographer.

Our team is travelling over to Melbourne for the premiere, and we can’t wait to bring this film to a wider audience in the near future.
