Minelab Multi-IQ
Minelab asked us to help explain one of their most powerful — but complex — technologies: Multi-IQ. The challenge? Turn deep tech into something instantly relatable, memorable, and engaging for audiences across all experience levels.
Our solution was to lean into metaphor and emotion. We scripted a playful, narrative-driven animation that personifies the detecting experience — like having a group of energetic guides shouting directions at you. When those guides are unreliable, you're digging blind. But when they’re in sync? You strike gold.
We developed a bespoke visual style and palette, then brought it to life with elegant 2.5D animation, expressive transitions, and a rich soundscape to ground the energy and tone. The result is a stylised explainer that feels more like a short film than a tech demo — one that captures the feeling of detecting while landing Minelab’s key value proposition with clarity and charm.
